ILDEX 2026: A shift towards responsible production

In late May 2026, our co-founder, My Nguyen had the opportunity to attend the ILDEX VIETNAM conference in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

ILDEX is an industry conference uniting more than 230 producers, professional associations, and other stakeholders in the farming and livestock industry from 32 countries.

This was a golden opportunity to engage with top Vietnamese companies, industry associations, media outlets, and key decision-makers. We had productive conversations about duck and animal welfare with several stakeholders, discussing what better welfare practices could look like in Vietnam.

We were also delighted to see animal welfare topics taking up space on the main stage, with presentations from Global Food Partners and Bio Creative Labs Asia. Alongside this, hearing companies speak about their work tackling antimicrobial resistance (AMR) gave us valuable perspective on how the industry is evolving toward more responsible production.

The connections built at ILDEX directly strengthen our corporate engagement work. We believe that when companies, associations, and advocates gather together, real progress becomes possible.
